Credit Engine Asia launches a Proof of Concept (POC) with SIAM SAISON, a Thailand Fintech specializing in SMB

Credit Engine Asia Pte. Ltd. (Office: 105 Cecil Street #2-02 The Octagon Singapore 06953, CEO: Seiichiro Uchiyama, hereafter "CEA") announced today that in January 2024, it will launch a PoC with SIAM SAISON Co., Ltd. (Head Office: 1 Siam Cement Road, Bangsue, Bangkok, 10800, Thailand; hereafter "SIAM SAISON"), a joint venture between Siam Cement Group (SCG), a major conglomerate in Thailand, and Japanese companies. SIAM SAISON has started a Proof of Concept (PoC) to improve the efficiency of its debt collection operations by digitizing the operations processes.



By providing Credit Engine "CE Collection", SIAM SAISON will work to improve the efficiency of its debt collection operations and reduce its administrative burden over the seven months of the PoC. Specifically, in addition to the manpower-based visits, telephone reminders, and reminder letters that SIAM SAISON has traditionally used, the introduction of the "CE Collection" will provide automated telephone calls and a "Customer Page" for debt management. This will reduce labor costs and improve the collection rate in debt collection operations.

This project is part of the "Digitalization of Lending and Debt Collection Processes to Achieve
Financial Inclusion in Thailand" a project adopted by the "Asia Digital Transformation (ADX) projects" for which The Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) serves as the coordinator office, to support efforts aimed at solving economic and social issues in ASEAN and Japan through the utilization of digital technology.
