FamiPay, a QR payment app of FamilyMart, agrees to implement "CE Collection" as a debt collection system
FamiPay will be the first partner in implementing "CE Collection" for their “FamiPay Next Month Payment” service
Credit Engine, Inc. (CEO: Seiichiro Uchiyama; HQ in Tokyo, Japan) announces today, September 7th, 2021, that they agree with FamilyMart Co., Ltd. (CEO: Kensuke Hosomi; HQ in Tokyo, Japan) to provide the debt collection system "CE Collection" for the “FamiPay Next Month Payment”* service of FamiPay. FamiPay is a smartphone QR payment app, and it is provided by Famima Digital One Co., Ltd., a subsidiary company of FamilyMart.
*"FamiPay Next Month Payment” is a service provided by Famima Digital One Co., Ltd. and it is based on the Installment Sales Act.
From the release of the product "CE Collection" in May 2021, our affiliates company's LENDY Servicing, Inc., in charge of the debt collection, started to use this system. And now, we would like to celebrate that FamilyMart will be our first external partner to implement.
“CE Collection" is a digital debt collection system that utilizes technology to automate debt collection operations, such as automated phone calls, reduce management costs, and improve the overall productivity of collection operations.
The "CE Collection" service was developed with the goal of establishing an effective debt collection system for the “FamiPay Next Month Payment” service of FamiPay. In addition, the service will maximize the efficiency of debt collection operations by enabling automatic integration from the registration of overdue receivables to collection information through API. In addition, we aim to improve the user experience by providing a customer's page to check the payment status and register the scheduled payment date.

About "FamiPay Next Month Payment”
"FamiPay Next Month Payment" is a new service of the FamiPay QR payment app. which allows users to make payments even when the amount of charge is insufficient and settle such payments together for the next month's payment. This service can be used for all payments that can be made with FamiPay, including regular purchases, utility bills, and payments at FamilyMart and FamiPay member stores.
